The fast-casual chain unveiled the “edgy fashion drop,” officially dubbed Lemon Pepper 1’s, with a limited-edition co-branded sneaker giveaway on social media. These one-of-a-kind shoes feature smooth forest green leather in a nod to Wingstop’s signature colorway with ranch-inspired cream suede. The tongue of the shoe even includes a lemon pepper seasoning packet.
“Wingstop has entered the sneaker game to give some fans the Lemon Pepper 1s they’ve been craving,” Marisa Carona, Wingstop’s chief growth officer, said in a statement to Thrillist. “This drop echoes the tried-and-true Wingstop flavor used in over 1,700 restaurants around the world, and just like our made-to-order meals, these shoes are handcrafted to perfection, leaving sneakerheads like me , hungry for more.”

“Growing up in a family of chefs, chicken wings were actually one of my favorite dishes to make,” Dominic Ciambrone, founder of Shoe Surgeon, told Thrillist. “It was a fun project to play around with textures and materials to mimic that to bring the Lemon Pepper 1s to life.”
