Tell us about your personal style

My personal style is super comfortable and easy, I always like to add something to my mood. My personal style has evolved and continues to evolve depending on where I find myself in my life, but above all it is comfortable, relaxed, simple and straightforward.

Shoes have become the most important accessory. What do you have to say about their importance?

I think shoes are your look, as we speak. They define how you want your look to match, like you could have a simple black dress, but casual shoes can make it look relaxed right away and a stiletto can make it super formal. It reflects your personality, whether you are picky or laid back and for me shoes are a real way to really express your mood or your individuality in a subtle way. I think it’s a really fun, easy, and accessible way to play around with your wardrobe without going overboard when you start experimenting.

You have designed your own wedding shoes. What was so special that they tell us something about the experience?

Yes, I designed my wedding shoes. Basically I think I’ve always struggled to find the perfect shoe for Indian clothing, be it sarees or lehengas. I had this vision of how I wanted my shoes to be like at my wedding because they have to be comfortable; it can be apartments or sometimes I can wear sneakers. I didn’t really want to wear sneakers to get married. I had this idea inspired by a Kolhapuri chappal but I wanted height. I didn’t want it to be chunky as a wedge, I wanted it to be delicate, sophisticated, and clean, with a level of luxury but still modern, so the oversized bead, vegan leather and just a slight heel made it look great. ‘assemble; it was just perfect. I know it will go with a lot of my Indian clothes, but actually I’m really proud of this pair.

You have collaborated with a brand for your wedding shoes, tell us about the collaboration?

Yes, the shoes I designed are part of the collaboration I did with The CAI Store. Honestly, it happened quite naturally. I didn’t want to plan or pre-plan my wedding too much, so I started planning it a month before and realized that I didn’t have any shoes that I really wanted to wear and nothing caught my eye. . As I was already working with The CAI Store for my new collaboration, I said to myself why not. I’m really excited that I did, it’s just great memories.

You come from a family of sneakerheads, what size are you a sneakerhead?

I really like sneakers. These are the shoes I feel most like myself in and spend most of my time in. I like them because they are really functional. Sneakers are the kind of shoes that can make you feel polished and finished and at the same time feel really laid back and relaxed. I think it’s a really versatile shoe. All in all, it can be stylish and of course comfortable.
